November 13, 2010 – Song 9

Earlier today I put on the Pretenders. I was immediately hugged by a coworker. Within that second I knew several things:

A. There must be something in the water in Akron. That’s right, I’m looking at you Black Keys. You’ll make the list yet, no doubt. Midwest Represent!

B. Somebody asked me “What if you run out of songs?” But if I can barely wait to post for the next day every night before I’ve even gone to sleep, then I don’t really see the challenge there.

C. One more day has gone by and I still owe Damon and Wayne a mad call out. Like I said, having enough songs and something dumb to say about them really isn’t going to be a problem. In fact, the real dilemma today was deciding just which song was gonna be the one.

D. Either Tom Petty and Chrissie Hynde are both riding my same wave or I just really have a thing for top hats.

E. Doing this is Capital D. Downright one of the best ideas I’ve ever had.

F. And, on that note, with an F for Frier, Song 9 has officially been taken.

Taken that is, to a private cul de sac.
